The material is made on the basis of polyester non-woven fabric (spunbond) laminated with aluminum foil. Due to the high reflective properties of aluminum foil and almost zero vapor permeability, the material is widely used in combination with many heat-insulating materials (mineral wool, basalt wool, foamed rubber and polyethylene, polystyrene heat-insulating materials as a protective layer against moisture, vapors, and ultraviolet radiation. The material is also used in plant growing as a reflective material for artificial lighting of plants with phytolamps.
